FDOT Central Office RWIS Servers

Status: Existing

Description: The FDOT Central Office RWIS Servers are located in Lake City and Tallahassee to collect RWIS data. The RWIS data is transmitted from the RWIS devices over a satellite link using the NOAA GOES satellites to the FDOT Central Office RWIS Servers. The RWIS Servers are connected to the FDOT Statewide ITS WAN/C2C Infrastructure making the RWIS data available on the SunGuide network.
