Gainesville Traffic Signal Upgrade
Project Description: This project will update traffic signals in City of Gainesville. Initial projects include: East University Ave from Hawthorne Road/SR20 to East 15th Street, Newberry Road (SR 26) at NW 76 Boulevard, NW 34 Street (SR 121) at NW 53rd Ave, NW 6 Street (SR 20) at NW 16 Avenue, Archer Road (SR 24) at SW 23 Terrace, SW 13 Street (SR 25) at SW 14 Drive, SW 16 Avenue/SR 226 Traffic Signals from Shealy Drive to SE 16 Street, and Williston Road (SR 331) at SE 4 Street.

5: The center shall manage (define, store and modify) control plans to coordinate signalized intersections, to be engaged at the direction of center personnel or according to a daily schedule.

6: The center shall implement control plans to coordinate signalized intersections based on data from sensors.

7: The center shall manage boundaries of the control sections used within the signal system.
