Transit Management for Western Florida Regional ITS Architecture - FDOT District 3
- Provide operator instructions and receive schedule performance from transit vehicles while in service.
- Provide paratransit/demand responsive transit service for the FDOT District 3 region.
- Coordinate emergency plans with county EOCs, and provide emergency transit services for evacuations, fires, and disasters, including reentry services.

- Receive a demand responsive transit request from a traveler through local agency Web sites or private sector traveler information systems.
- Receive road network conditions from regional traffic management agencies.
- Receive work zone information and road network status from county and city roadway maintenance and construction agencies.
- Track and evaluate schedule performance on all county paratransit vehicles.
- Provide automated transit maintenance scheduling for all county paratransit vehicles using automated vehicle conditions reporting.
