Collect road weather information.
Control highway traffic with lane control signals (future), including through toll lanes and reversible lanes.
Determine travel times for highways.
Monitor surveillance cameras on highways.
Monitor traffic sensors on highways.
Operate traffic information devices, such as dynamic message sign (DMS) and highway advisory radio (HAR) equipment, on highways.
Provide traffic information reports to other agencies
