Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate incident response with the FDOT, and county and local public works departments, including for scheduled events.
- Coordinate incident responses for incidents on or adjacent to toll roads with public safety in surrounding counties.
- Coordinate maintenance resource responses to toll road incidents with the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), and county and local public safety agencies.
- Dispatch tow wrecker vehicles to incidents on toll roads.
- Operate and dispatch Road Rangers Safety Patrol vehicles.
- Perform network surveillance for incident detection and verification.
- Provide incident information to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), and other traffic management and public safety agencies.
- Provide incident information to travelers using traffic information devices, such as DMS and HAR equipment, on freeways.

- Coordinate emergency operations with county and local public safety agencies.
- Coordinate incident response with county and municipal public safety agencies.
- Dispatch FHP vehicles to emergencies on FTE roadways.
- Provide incident information to traffic management and public safety agencies.
- Receive emergency calls from cell phones for incidents on FTE-operated toll roads.
