FTE I-4 FRAME Roles and Responsibilities
This area includes all the roles and responsibilities that have been identified for the FTE I-4 FRAME project.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Collect road weather information.
- Control highway traffic with lane control signals (future), including through toll lanes and reversible lanes.
- Coordinate incident response with the FDOT, and county and local public works departments, including for scheduled events.
- Coordinate incident responses for incidents on or adjacent to toll roads with public safety in surrounding counties.
- Coordinate maintenance resource responses to toll road incidents with the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), and county and local public safety agencies.
- Determine travel times for highways.
- Dispatch tow wrecker vehicles to incidents on toll roads.
- Monitor surveillance cameras on highways.
- Monitor traffic sensors on highways.
- Operate and dispatch Road Rangers Safety Patrol vehicles.
- Operate traffic information devices, such as dynamic message sign (DMS) and highway advisory radio (HAR) equipment, on highways.
- Perform network surveillance for incident detection and verification.
- Provide incident information to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), and other traffic management and public safety agencies.
- Provide incident information to travelers using traffic information devices, such as DMS and HAR equipment, on freeways.
- Provide traffic information reports to other agencies
- Provide traffic, incident, construction, and maintenance information for FTE toll roads to Florida 511.
- Provide traffic, incident, construction, and maintenance information for FTE-operated toll roads to the general public using the Web site and local media.
- Provide traveler information directly to drivers using DMS and HAR equipment.
- Provide traveler information to travelers using the Florida 511 system, private companies, and the media.
- Provides CAV field equipment as part of the I-4 FRAME project.

- Travelers receive information from FL511 and local traveler information services.

- Local media provides traveler information to the general public.
- Private Commercial Vehicle and Fleet Operators
Roles and Responsibilities
- Private Commercial Vehicle and Fleet Operators are responsible for their fleet of commercial vehicles.

Roles and Responsibilities
- FDOT provides the CAV infrastructure systems needed by FTE as part of the I-4 FRAME project.
- Counties and Cities
Roles and Responsibilities
- Counties and Cities is a generic stakeholder representing various county and local call taker systems that handle 911 calls.
- Parking Operators
Roles and Responsibilities
- Parking operators are responsible for data exchange to/from their parking facilities.
- FDOT CO
Roles and Responsibilities
- FDOT provides the 511 traveler information system for use by FTE.
