Roles and Responsibilities
- Collect environmental information from FDOT D3 field equipment, and from public and private weather service providers.
- Coordinate maintenance and construction activities with other county and city maintenance systems, and the FDOT District 3 construction and maintenance systems.
- Coordinate maintenance and construction requests from RTMCs.
- Coordinate maintenance resources for incidents with other county and city maintenance and construction operations.
- Dispatch county and city PWD vehicles, and receive AVL information from county and city PWD vehicles.
- Distribute environmental data to private weather providers; TMCs; regional emergency management agencies; regional transit agencies; and county and city maintenance systems.
- Distribute maintenance and construction work plan information through Florida 511.
- Manage work zones for all county and city maintenance and construction activities, as well as monitor work zone safety with county and city field equipment and vehicles.
- Perform maintenance on ITS field equipment owned by cities and counties in the region.
- Provide maintenance and construction information to regional traffic operations and the traveling public using portable DMS devices.
- Provide the maintenance of local, county, and city roads in the region, including infrastructure monitoring.
- Receive a request for maintenance resources for incident response from county fire/EMS agencies, the county sheriff, local police/fire/EMS agencies, the FHP, and regional county EOCs.
- Receive a request for maintenance resources for incident response from regional county and city traffic management systems.
- Vehicles provide automated maintenance status information to county and city roadway maintenance and construction operations, as well as county and local equipment repair facilities.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Collect environmental information from FDOT D3 field equipment, and from public and private weather service providers.
- Coordinate maintenance and construction requests for ITS equipment from regional TMCs.
- Coordinate maintenance and construction requests for non-ITS infrastructure.
- Coordinate maintenance resources for incidents with other FDOT District maintenance and construction operations.
- Coordinate with city and county maintenance and construction systems, as well as other FDOT District maintenance and construction systems.
- Dispatch FDOT District 3 maintenance vehicles and receive automatic vehicle location (AVL) information from FDOT District 3 maintenance vehicles.
- Distribute environmental data to private weather providers; TMCs; regional emergency management agencies; regional transit agencies; and county and city maintenance systems.
- Distribute maintenance and construction work plan information through Florida 511.
- Manage work zones on all FDOT maintenance and construction activities, and monitor work zone safety with FDOT field devices and vehicles.
- Perform maintenance of ITS field equipment owned by the FDOT.
- Provide maintenance and construction information (i.e., work zone information) to the FDOT District 3 PIO, who forwards this information to the region's traffic management agencies.
- Provide maintenance and construction information, including work zone information to all FDOT District 3 TMCs; regional maintenance and construction operations; and the traveling public using portable DMS devices.
- Receive a request for maintenance resources for incident response from county fire/EMS agencies, the county sheriff, local police/fire/EMS agencies, the FHP, and the county EOC.
- Receive a request for maintenance resources for incident response from the all FDOT District 3 TMCs.
- Vehicle provides automated maintenance status information to the FDOT District 3 construction and maintenance operations, and the FDOT District 3 equipment repair facility.
