This area includes all the roles and responsibilities that have been identified for the Okaloosa County Wide Area TMC project.

• TM02: Vehicle-Based Traffic Surveillance (Okaloosa County)
• TM03: Traffic Signal Control (Okaloosa County)
• TM07: Regional Traffic Management (FDOT District 3 Rural ITS Deployment)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate traffic information and traffic control with all FDOT District 3 TMCs.
• Coordinate traffic information with regional transportation agencies.



• Okaloosa County

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collect traffic probe data from Okaloosa County field equipment.
• Coordinate traffic information with allied agencies through the FDOT Rural ITS deployment.
• Obtain traffic images and traffic flow data from CCTVs and field sensors, and maintain operational control of its own field equipment.
• Operate traffic signal systems, including CCTVs, signals, and sensors, for Okaloosa County.
