: This project includes the deployment of systems utilizing both Vehicle–to–Infrastructure (V2I) and Vehicle–to–Vehicle (V2V) components. These components will be implemented and configured to cater to freight vehicles utilizing the project corridor Bee Line Highway / Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. (SR 710). Approximately 14% of the traffic along the project corridor is freight traffic. The project limits include a combination of rural and urban segments between Indiantown Road (SR 706) and the Port of Palm Beach in Palm Beach County. The project will integrate various safety and mobility applications, including freight signal priority. This will be achieved by utilizing CAV systems; including OBUs communicating to the RSUs.
