This area includes all the roles and responsibilities that have been identified for the Broward County Regional Integration project.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Support transit incident response and incident reports with the transit management, county sheriff, and local police.
- FDOT District 6
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collect traffic data from sensors that are part of the traffic signal system.
- Operate traffic signal systems on state roadways.
- Support transit incident response and incident reports with the transit management, county sheriff, and local police.
- Broward County Public Works and Transportation Administration
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collect traffic data from the traffic signal system sensors.
- Coordinate and communicate transit incident response and incident reports with the transit management, FDOT, county sheriff, and local police.
- Coordinate highway-rail intersection signal adjustments.
- Interconnect with City of Port St. Lucie and City of Fort Pierce traffic signal systems.
- Operate traffic signal systems on county-owned arterials, as well as some municipal arterials.
- Provide signal preemption for emergency vehicles.
- Provide signal priority for transit vehicles.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate emergency plans with county EOCs, and provide emergency transit services for evacuations, fires, and disasters, including re-entry services.
- Coordinate traffic signal priority with the Broward County ITS Operations Facility.
- Coordinate transit fare payment with other regional agencies.
- Coordinate transit schedules with other local transit agencies, particularly for transit connections at transit transfer points.
- Coordinate transit security incidents with local police and the Broward County Sheriffs Office.
- Coordinate with multimodal transportation agencies, including airports, commuter rails, and heavy rail.
- Regional Public Safety Agencies
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate incident response and incident reports with the county sheriff, fire/EMS, and EOC; local police/fire/EMS; the FHP; and other public safety agencies.
- Coordinate incident response and incident reports with the county sheriff/fire/EMS/EOC, local police/fire/EMS, the FHP, and other public safety agencies.
- Participate in incident response, coordination, and reporting for the regional incident and mutual aid network.
- Receive emergency calls for incidents in jurisdictions of the 911 center. Coordinate incident response with local public safety agencies, such as the police, fire, emergency medical service, EMS, sheriff, and FHP.
