This area includes all the roles and responsibilities that have been identified for the City of Clearwater ITS devices project.

Stakeholders

• City of Clearwater Traffic Operations Division

Roles and Responsibilities

• Obtain traffic images and traffic flow data from City of Clearwater CCTVs and field sensors, and maintain operational control of all field equipment.
• Provide traffic information to travelers using municipal DMS devices.



• Pinellas County PWD

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate traffic information and traffic control with the City of Clearwater and Pinellas County.
• Obtain traffic images and traffic flow data from Pinellas County CCTVs and field sensors, and maintain operational control of all field equipment.
• Operate traffic signal systems on county-owned arterials.
• Provide traffic information to travelers using county-owned DMS devices.
