ITS Object

Status: Planned

Description: The ITS Object is at the top of the hierarchy of physical objects. The ITS Object includes the core capabilities and interfaces that may be included in any ITS system or device. The ITS Object defines the core capabilities and interfaces needed for the connected vehicle environment regarding security, communications, and management. By defining this essential object in the architecture, a less complex vision for the connected vehicle environment is afforded.
