MCSAW Field Devices

Status: Planned

Description: Motor Carrier Size and Weight (MCSAW) Field Devices represent equipment installed at FDOT Weigh Station for identifying and measuring commercial vehicle size on mainline, ramp and at a static scale. These include Over height Vehicle Detection system (OVD), License Plate Recognition Camera (LPR), USDOT Camera, Mainline Sort Dynamic Message Sign (DMS), Vehicle Dimensioning System (VDIM) and ramp Sort Signals.
