FDOT Office of Transportation Technology
Description: The FDOT Office of Transportation Technology oversees the alignment of Information and Operational Technologies for the Florida Department of Transportation. This area is also responsible for the strategy and operations of the department's technology environment in direct support of the agency's mission. It includes: 1) The Office of Information Technology (OIT) supports the department's five–year work program by providing technology support, sourcing and relationship management, technology navigation, business application development and maintenance, collaboration, communication/connectivity tools and business protection; 2) Civil Integrated Management (CIM) provides strategic planning, leadership and support for operational technology/data within the Florida Department of Transportation; and 3) Information Security Management (ISM) oversees the information technology security program and ensures the confidentiality/privacy, integrity and availability of the department's information and information resources.

Archived Data Management for Florida Statewide Services ITS Architecture
- Accesses FDOT Safety and Crash Data including crash reports and other safety-related transportation data for a broad range of uses (e.g. planning, research, analysis, operations).
- Collects FDOT Safety and Crash Data including crash reports and other safety-related transportation data for use in the associated system (e.g. databases, models, analytical tools, user interface devices) analyses with their tools.
- Accesses statewide data including bridge inventory, roadway character inventory system, and pavement management systems for a broad range of uses (e.g. planning, research, analysis, operations).
- Collects statewide data including bridge inventory, roadway character inventory system, and pavement management systems for use in the associated system (e.g. databases, models, analytical tools, user interface devices) analyses with their tools.
