Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate HAZMAT spill incident responses with county and/or local fire/EMS agencies.
• Receive HAZMAT spill notifications from private commercial fleets.



• FDOT District 3

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collect safety and electronic screening information from private commercial fleets to provide roadside CVO inspections by the FDOT Motor Carrier Compliance Office (MCCO).
• Provide safety and citation/violation information to the FDOT permitting systems, the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV), and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) SAFETYNET 2000.
