Description: Represents the generic county and municipal public safety agencies, including EMS, fire departments, police departments, and sheriff's departments. Also represents the agencies that manage and operate PSAPs (Public Safety Answering Points).

Roles and Responsibilities:

Bay County ATMS System Upgrade Roles and Responsibilities (Copy 1)
• Receive emergency calls for incidents within jurisdictions of the 911 center. Coordinate incident response and dispatch with county and local public safety agencies, including police/fire/EMS agencies, the sheriff, and the FHP.
• Receive emergency calls for incidents within jurisdictions of the 911 center. Coordinate incident response with local public safety agencies, including the police/fire/EMS agencies, the sheriff, and the FHP.

Commercial Vehicle Operations for Western Florida Regional ITS Architecture - FDOT District 3
• Coordinate HAZMAT spill incident responses with county and/or local fire/EMS agencies.
• Receive HAZMAT spill notifications from private commercial fleets.

Emergency Management for Western Florida Regional ITS Architecture - FDOT District 3
• Coordinate incident response and incident reports with the county sheriff, county fire/EMS agencies, the county EOC, local police/fire/EMS agencies, the FHP, and other public safety agencies.
• Receive emergency calls for incidents within jurisdictions of the 911 center. Coordinate incident response with local public safety agencies, including the police/fire/EMS agencies, the sheriff, and the FHP.
• Participate in incident response, coordination, and reporting for the regional incident and mutual aid network.

FDOT Emergency Management Coordination Roles and Responsibilities (Copy 1)
• Receive emergency calls for incidents within jurisdictions of the 911 center. Coordinate incident response and dispatch with county and local public safety agencies, including police/fire/EMS agencies, the sheriff, and the FHP.

• Coordinate maintenance resources in response to incidents with county and city public works departments (PWDs), and the FDOT District 3 maintenance system.
• Receive emergency calls for incidents within jurisdictions of the 911 center. Coordinate incident response and dispatch with county and local public safety agencies, including police/fire/EMS agencies, the sheriff, and the FHP.
