Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate emergency plans, incident reponses, and resources with county EOCs.
- Coordinate evacuation and reentry plans with county EOCs
- Provide traffic information (i.e., road network conditions) to local emergency management providers, including local fire/EMS/police agencies, the FHP, and the county sheriff.
- Provide traffic information (i.e., road network conditions) to regional transit agencies, including county paratransit agencies.
- Provide traffic information and video images to travelers using local agency traveler information services, the northwest Florida traveler information system, and private sector traveler information services.
- Provide traffic information in a coordination effort to the FDOT statewide center-to-center (C2C) information network.
- Provide traffic information to travelers and then the media via Florida 511, as well as regional traveler information websites.
- Provide traffic information to travelers using the FDOT District 3 DMS devices.
- Receive America’s Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response (AMBER) Alerts, Silver Alerts and LEO Alerts, as well as other wide area alert information from county EOCs.
- Escambia County Transportation and Traffic Operations (TTO)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate emergency plans, incident responses, and resources with the county EOC.
- Coordinate evacuation and reentry plans with the county EOC.
- Provide traffic information (i.e., road network conditions) to local emergency management providers, including local fire/EMS/police agencies, the FHP, and the county sheriff.
- Provide traffic information in a coordination effort to the FDOT statewide C2C information network.
- Provide traffic information to regional transit operations, including ECAT operations and school districts.
- Provide traffic information to travelers using Escambia County’s DMS devices.
- Provide traffic information to travelers using local agency traveler information services, the FDOT statewide ATIS, private sector traveler information services, and the media.
- Receive AMBER Alert and other wide area alert information from the county EOC.
- Santa Rosa County
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate emergency plans, incident responses, and resources with the county EOC.
- Coordinate evacuation and reentry plans with the county EOC.
- Provide traffic information (i.e., road network conditions) to local emergency management providers, including local fire/EMS/police agencies, the FHP, and the county sheriff.
- Provide traffic information in a coordination effort to the FDOT statewide C2C information network.
- Provide traffic information to regional transit operations, including ECAT operations, local transit providers, and school districts.
- Provide traffic information to travelers through the FDOT statewide ATIS; local agency traveler information services; private sector traveler information services; county and city systems; and the media.
- Provide traffic information to travelers using DMS devices owned by Escambia and Santa Rosa counties; the cities of Gulf Breeze, Milton, and Pensacola; and FDOT District 3.
- Receive AMBER Alert and other wide area alert information from the county EOC.
- City of Pensacola
Roles and Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities

- Provide road network conditions to travelers using local agency traveler information services; the northwest Florida traveler information system; county and city systems; and the media.
- Provide traffic information (i.e., road network conditions) to local emergency management providers, including local fire/EMS/police agencies, the FHP, and the county sheriff.
- Provide traffic information (i.e., road network conditions) to regional transit operations, including county paratransit providers and StarMetro.
- Provide traffic information in a coordination effort to the FDOT statewide C2C information network.
- Provide traffic information to travelers using the City of Tallahassee’s DMS devices; county and local DMS devices; and FDOT District 3 DMS devices.
- Receive AMBER Alert and other wide area alert information from the county EOC.
- Bay County Department of Public Works
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate emergency plans, incident responses, and resources with the county EOC.
- Coordinate evacuation and reentry plans with the county EOC.
- Obtain traffic images and traffic flow data from the City of Tallahassee field equipment; county and local field equipment; and FDOT District 3 field equipment.
- Provide traffic and road network information to local transit agencies, including Bay County’s transit providers and school districts.
- Provide traffic information (i.e., road network conditions) to local emergency management providers, including local fire/EMS/police agencies, the FHP, and the county sheriff.
- Provide traffic information in a coordination effort to the FDOT statewide C2C information network.
- Provide traffic information to travelers using Bay County’s DMS devices.
- Provide traffic information to travelers using the BayCounty website; F L511; private sector traveler information services; county and city systems; and the media.
- Receive AMBER Alert and other wide area alert information from the county EOC.
- County and City Traffic Engineering
Roles and Responsibilities
