- Coordinate with other TMCs in FDOT District 3.
FDOT Wrong Way Driving Project Roles and Responsibilities (Copy 1)
- Coordinate with other TMCs in FDOT District 3.
- Provide traffic information to travelers using Okaloosa County’s DMS devices.
Highway Management for Western Florida Regional ITS Architecture - FDOT District 3 (Copy 2)
- Coordinate traffic information and traffic control with all FDOT District 3 TMCs.
Incident Management (Traffic and Maintenance) for Western Florida Regional ITS Architecture - FDOT District 3 (Copy 1)
- Coordinate with other TMCs in FDOT District 3.
- Coordinate maintenance resources for incident response with county and city maintenance and construction systems.
- Provide incident information to travelers using traffic information devices on county roads, and through local ISPs, Web sites, and the local media.
Incident Management (Traffic and Maintenance) for Western Florida Regional ITS Architecture - FDOT District 3 (Copy 2)
- Coordinates in dispatching Road Ranger Service Patrol vehicles to incidents in the region.
Information Dissemination for Western Florida Regional ITS Architecture - FDOT District 3 (Copy 1)
- Provide incident information to travelers using traffic information devices on county roads, and through local ISPs, Web sites, and the local media.
- Provide traffic information to travelers using the BayCounty website; F L511; private sector traveler information services; county and city systems; and the media.
- Provide traffic information to travelers using Okaloosa County’s DMS devices.
- Receive AMBER Alert and other wide area alert information from the county EOC.
Traffic Signal Control for Western Florida Regional ITS Architecture - FDOT District 3 (Copy 2)
- Coordinate emergency traffic signal control with the county EOC/warning points.
- Coordinate HRI signal adjustments, and provide track status information (e.g., blockage) to rail operators and local traffic operations.
- Obtain traffic images and traffic flow data from CCTVs and field sensors, and maintain operational control of its own field equipment.
- Operate traffic signal systems, including CCTVs, signals, and sensors, for Okaloosa County.
- Provide emergency signal preemption for county and local fire/EMS providers.
