SFRTA Secondary Dispatch Relocation

Project Description: This project will relocate the SFRTA's backup dispatch center from its current location at the West Palm Beach Tri–Rail Station to the new Northern Layover Facility. This is contingent upon the completion of construction at the Northern Layover Facility.

• South Florida Regional Transportation Authority
• Coordinate emergency plans with county EOCs, and provide emergency transit services for evacuations, fires, and disasters, including re-entry services.
• Coordinate transit fare payment with other regional agencies.
• Coordinate transit schedules with other local transit agencies, particularly for transit connections at transit stations.
• Coordinate transit security incidents with local police and the county sheriff.
• Count passengers boarding SFRTA vehicles.
• Provide automated transit maintenance scheduling through automated vehicle condition reports on all SFRTA commuter trains.
