- Provide maintenance and construction information to the FDOT District 4 maintenance and construction operations; regional maintenance and construction operations; and the traveling public through portable DMS devices.
- Coordinate with city and county maintenance and construction systems, as well as the FDOT District maintenance and construction sections.
- Provide traffic information reports to other agencies.
Electronic Toll Collection for Southeast Florida Regional ITS Architecture - FDOT Districts 4 and 6
- Provide customer account information using a Web site.
- Coordinate with FDOT District 4 and FDOT District 6 to process dynamic tolls in express lanes.
- Coordinate with other toll agencies using a reciprocity network for electronic toll payment collections.
- Coordinate with the FDHSMV and county courts to collect tolls from violators.
- Operate a customer service center to process toll transactions and handle violations processing.
- Operate and manage FTE express lanes.
- Operate toll collection equipment on FTE toll roads
Highway Management for Southeast Florida Regional ITS Architecture - FDOT Districts 4 and 6
- Provide traffic information reports to other agencies.
- Operate freeway traffic information devices, such as DMS and HAR equipment.
Incident Management (Traffic and Maintenance) for Southeast Florida Regional ITS Architecture - FDOT Districts 4 and 6
- Coordinate incident response for incidents on or adjacent to FTE-operated roadways with public safety agencies in surrounding counties and municipalities, including county and local EOCs.
- Provide incident information to other traffic management and public safety agencies.
- Coordinate incident response with county and local public works departments, including response for scheduled events.
- Provide incident information to travelers on FTE roadways using traffic information devices (e.g., DMS and HAR units), local ISPs, and Web sites.
- Coordinate maintenance resource response to incidents on FTE roadways with the FHP, and county and local public safety agencies.
- Provide incident information to travelers via traffic information devices on FTE roadways (e.g., DMS and HAR equipment), and through local ISPs and Web sites.
- Coordinate maintenance resource response to incidents on FTE-operated roadways with the FHP, and county and local public safety agencies.
Maintenance and Construction for Southeast Florida Regional ITS Architecture - FDOT Districts 4 and 6
- Receive maintenance resource requests for incident response from county fire/EMS/sheriff, local police/fire/EMS, the FHP, and 911 emergency call centers.
- Provide environmental data to private weather providers; RTMCs; regional emergency management agencies; regional transit agencies; and county and city maintenance sections.
- Coordinate maintenance resources for incidents with FDOT District maintenance and construction operations.
- Coordinate maintenance resources for incidents with the FDOT District maintenance and construction operations.
- Provide maintenance and construction information to FDOT District 6 maintenance and construction operations; regional maintenance and construction operations; and the traveling public using portable DMS equipment.
- Provide maintenance and construction information to the FDOT District 4 maintenance and construction operations; regional maintenance and construction operations; and the traveling public through portable DMS devices.
- Coordinate with city and county maintenance and construction systems, and the FDOT District maintenance and construction sections.
