Description: FDOT District 5 Smart Work Zone Equipment represents sensors, message boards and the Connected and Autonomous Vehicle (CAV) equipment that would be deployed in Work Zones area to determine potentially dangerous conditions for the construction personnel and motorists in the immediate vicinity of a work zone. Utilizing the collected information, it would also provide advanced work zone information to the construction personnel and motorists.
