Roles and Responsibilities:

Transit Management
• Coordinate a transit security breach with local police.
• Coordinate emergency plans with county EOCs, and provide emergency transit services for evacuations, fires, and disasters, including reentry services.
• Provide paratransit/demand-responsive transit services for the Orlando region.
• Coordinate multimodal connections for fixed-route transit vehicles with other regional transit agencies.
• Provide transit passenger electronic fare payment ability on all fixed-route transit vehicles, including the ability to obtain a fare payment card at agency-owned transit kiosks or other kiosks.
• Provide transit schedule and fare information to the central Florida traveler information system and local agency traveler information systems.
• Provide transit security on all transit vehicles using silent alarms.
• Obtain traffic signal priority from Orange County and the City of Orlando using the respective roadside field equipment for all demand-response transit vehicles.
• Track and evaluate schedule performance on all I-RIDE tourist shuttles.
