• Load pedestrian safety application on mobile device.



• Private Commercial Vehicle and Fleet Operators

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide commercial vehicle communication of wrong-way driving, collision warning, and location.



• Local Agencies

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate emergency plans, incident responses, and resources with the county EOC/warning points and local EOCs.
• Coordinate incident response for incidents on or adjacent to county-owned roadways with PWDs, public safety agencies, and EOCs in surrounding counties and municipalities, including scheduled event responses.
• Coordinate with Hillsborough County Traffic Management Center for signal preemption for emergency vehicle.



• Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the City of Tampa for traffic signal priority.
• Coordinate with the Hillsborough County for traffic signal priority.
• Provide fixed-route bus, paratransit, and streetcar services for Hillsborough County.
• Track and evaluate schedule performance data for all HART vehicles.



• Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority

Roles and Responsibilities

• Operate traffic network safely and efficiently with utililization of Connected Vehilcle technologies.
• Provides security for CAV communications between vehicles and the roadside.



• Hernando County DPW

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide emergency signal preemption for county fire vehicles.



• Hillsborough County PWD

Roles and Responsibilities

• Adjust signal-timing patterns in response to incidents.
• Coordinate emergency traffic signal control with the county EOC/warning points.
• Coordinate incident response for incidents on or adjacent to county-owned roadways with PWDs, public safety agencies, and EOCs in surrounding counties and municipalities, including scheduled event responses.
• Operate traffic network safely and efficiently with utililization of Connected Vehilcle technologies.
• Operate traffic signal systems on county-owned arterials.
• Provide emergency signal preemption for local and county fire vehicles.
• Provide transit signal priority with roadside devices for Hillsborough Area Regional Transit (HART) Authority transit vehicles.
