Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate FHP public safety resources for incident response with regional traffic agencies, including the FDOT, and county and city agencies.
• Coordinate incident response with other public safety agencies, including police/fire/EMS agencies and the county sheriff.
• Coordinate maintenance resources in response to incidents with county and city PWDs; CFX construction and maintenance systems; and the FDOT District 5 maintenance system.
• Dispatch FHP vehicles to incidents in the jurisdiction
• Perform incident detection and verification for all streets in the region, and provide this information to traffic and other safety agencies.



• Regional Public Safety Agencies

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance resources in response to incidents with county and city PWDs; CFX construction and maintenance systems; and the FDOT District 5 maintenance system.
• Receive emergency calls for incidents in jurisdictions of the 911 center. Coordinate incident response and dispatch with county and local public safety agencies, including police/fire/EMS agencies, the sheriff, and the FHP.



• County Public Safety Agencies - Fire/EMS

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate county fire/EMS/rescue resources for incident response with regional traffic agencies, including the FDOT, and county and city agencies.
• Coordinate incident response with other public safety agencies, including the county sheriff, police, and FHP.
• Coordinate maintenance resources in response to incidents with county and city PWDs; CFX construction and maintenance systems; and the FDOT District 5 maintenance system.
• Dispatch county fire/EMS vehicles to incidents in the jurisdiction.
• Perform incident detection and verification for all streets in the region, and provide this information to traffic and other safety agencies.



• County Public Safety Agencies - Sheriffs Department

• Dispatch local police vehicles to incidents in the jurisdiction
• Perform incident detection and verification for all streets in the region, and provide this information to traffic and other safety agencies.
