Roles and Responsibilities
- FDOT District 1
- Monitor traffic images and traffic flow data through CCTVs and field sensors, and maintain operational control of its own field equipment.
- Greater Charlotte Lighting District
- Coordinate traffic information and traffic control with the FDOT; Lee County and city traffic management systems (TMSs); Manatee-Sarasota remote traffic monitoring sensors (RTMSs); and the Sarasota County traffic signal control system (TSCS).
