City of Sarasota CAV Project
Project Description: This project proposes to improve road user safety by supporting the vision of the region and the city by deploying CAV technologies. Future deployments to build on this initial CAV project application will include expanding this project to deploy the CV/AV technology platform at the City's core traffic signal locations, developing a Smart City Traffic and Technology management
center, and implementing additional third–party software to improve vulnerable road user safety and traffic management as well as can communicate with Automated and Connected Vehicles.
