Roles and Responsibilities
- Enable bluetooth device.
- Receives wrong-way driver message from in-vehicle signage.
- Private Commercial Vehicle and Fleet Operators
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide commercial vehicle communication of wrong-way driving, collision warning, and location.
- FDOT District 1
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate traffic information and traffic control with other FDOT District TMCs.
- Coordinate traffic information with county and local TMCs.
- Monitor traffic images and traffic flow data through CCTVs and field sensors, and maintain operational control of its own field equipment.
- Operate and coordinate traffic control devices, traffic sensors, and CCTVs on FDOT freeways, including the ability to control traffic on overflow ramps.
- Operate signalization and control of high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes, and obtain HOV status information to report violations to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).
- Operate toll collection systems in conjunction with SunPass.
- Operate traffic network safely and efficiently with utililization of Connected Vehilcle technologies.
- Provide emergency signal preemption for county fire/EMS agencies.
- Provide emergency signal preemption for local fire/EMS agencies.
- Provides security for CAV communications between vehicles and the roadside.
- City of Lakeland Traffic Operations
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate traffic information with FDOT District 1.
- Monitor traffic images and traffic flow data through CCTVs and field sensors, and maintain operational control of its own field equipment.
- Operate traffic network safely and efficiently with utililization of Connected Vehilcle technologies.
- Operate traffic signal systems for the City of Lakeland.
- Polk County Transportation Division
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate traffic information with FDOT District 1.
- Monitor traffic images and traffic flow data through CCTVs and field sensors, and maintain operational control of its own field equipment.
- Operate traffic signal systems for Polk County.
- Provide emergency signal preemption for county fire and county EMS agencies for signals at Fire/EMS stations
- City of Winter Haven Public Works
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate traffic information with FDOT District 1.
- Monitor traffic images and traffic flow data through CCTVs and field sensors, and maintain operational control of its own field equipment.
- Operate traffic network safely and efficiently with utililization of Connected Vehilcle technologies.
- Operate traffic signal systems for the City of Winter Haven.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Obtain traffic images and traffic flow data through CCTVs and field sensors, and maintain operational control of District 1 field equipment deployed on I-4.
- Manatee County Area Traffic Agencies
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate traffic information and traffic control with county and local traffic systems; the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT); and other southwest Florida TMCs.
