Roles and Responsibilities:

Transit Management for Southwest Florida Regional ITS Architecture - FDOT District 1
• Provide paratransit/demand-responsive transit service for Charlotte County.
• Coordinate emergency plans with county EOCs, and provide emergency transit services for evacuations, fires, and disasters, including re-entry services.
• Coordinate multimodal connections for fixed-route transit vehicles with other regional transit agencies, such as Manatee and Sarasota counties, and multimodal ISPs.
• Provide transit schedule and fare information to the Charlotte County traveler information system and private sector traveler ISPs.
• Provide transit security on all transit vehicles using silent alarms and surveillance systems.
• Track and evaluate schedule performance on all CAT vehicles.
