Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate incident response with other public safety agencies, such as the police/fire/EMS/sheriff offices).
- Coordinate maintenance resources in response to incidents with the county and city DPWs, and the FDOT District 2 maintenance section.
- Coordinate public safety (FHP) resources for incident response with regional traffic agencies, such as the FDOT District 2 RTMC, and county and city agencies.
- Dispatch FHP vehicles to incidents within the jurisdiction.
- Perform incident detection and verification for all streets in the region, and provide this information to traffic and other safety agencies.
- Regional Public Safety Agencies
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate maintenance resources in response to incidents with the county and city departments of public works (DPWs), the City of Jacksonville traffic engineering division, and the FDOT District 2 maintenance section.
- Receive emergency calls for incidents within jurisdictions of the 911 center. Coordinate incident response and dispatch with the county and local public safety agencies (e.g., police, fire, EMS, and sheriff offices, and the FHP).

Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate incident response and reporting with the county sheriff/fire/EMS/EOC, local police/fire/EMS, the FHP, and other public safety agencies.
- Participate in incident response, coordination, and reporting for the regional incident and mutual aid network.
- Perform network surveillance for detection and verification of incidents on freeways, and send traffic/incident information and traffic images to county fire/EMS/sheriff offices, the FHP, Road Rangers Service Patrols, the county EOC, and local fire/EMS/po
- Receive incident information, incident response status, and resource requests from the county EOC/Warning Point and from the FDOT District 2 EOC.
- Receive incident information, incident response status, and resource requests from the EOC/warning points.
- Receive requests for maintenance resources for incident response from county fire/EMS/sheriff, local police/fire/EMS, the FHP, 911 emergency call centers, and the FDOT District 2 EOC.
- City of Jacksonville Fire and Rescue
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate incident response and incident reports with the Jacksonville Sheriff, other county sheriffs and fire/EMS, the county EOC, the FHP, and other local fire/EMS and police agencies.
- Coordinate maintenance resources in response to incidents with Jacksonville Maintenance, county and city PWDs, and FDOT District 2 Maintenance.
- Dispatch county fire/EMS vehicles to incidents in the region.
- Participate in incident response, coordination, and reporting for the regional incident and mutual aid network.
- City of Jacksonville Sheriffs Office
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate incident response and incident reports with Jacksonville Fire and Rescue, other county sheriffs and fire/EMS, the county EOC, the FHP, and other local police and fire/EMS agencies.
- Coordinate maintenance resources in response to incidents with City of Jacksonville Maintenance, county and city PWDs, and FDOT District 2 Maintenance.
- Coordinate public safety resources for incident response with regional traffic agencies, including FDOTDistrict 2 and county and city agencies.
- Dispatch county sheriff vehicles to incidents in Jacksonville.

- Coordinate county fire/EMS/rescue resources for incident response with regional traffic agencies, including the FDOT District 2 RTMC, and county and city agencies.
- Coordinate incident response with other public safety agencies, such as the sheriff’s office, police, and the FHP).
- Coordinate maintenance resources in response to incidents with the county and city DPWs, and the FDOT District 2 maintenance section.

- Dispatch local fire/EMS vehicles to incidents within the jurisdiction
- Perform incident detection and verification for all streets in the region, and provide this information to traffic and other safety agencies.
- Local Agencies - Police Departments
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate incident response with other public safety agencies, such as fire/EMS/sheriff agencies, and the FHP.
- Coordinate local police resources for incident response with regional traffic agencies, such as the FDOT District 2 RTMC, and county and city agencies.
- Coordinate maintenance resources in response to incidents with the county and city DPWs; the JTA; and the FDOT District 2 maintenance section.
- Dispatch local police vehicles to incidents within the jurisdiction.
- Perform incident detection and verification for all streets in the region, and provide this information to traffic and other safety agencies.
