• Receive Amber Alert and other wide area alert information from the county EOC/warning point.



• Sarasota County Public Works Department

• Coordinate traffic information with City of Sarasota.



• Sarasota County Area Transit

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide fixed-route bus service for Sarasota County and the surrounding area.
• Provide paratransit/fixed-route transit services to Sarasota County.
• Provide real time bus arrival information to travelers.
• Provide support for bike-sharing, car/vanpooling and other innovative micro-transit services.
• Provide transit schedule and fare information to to the public via multiple formats
• Track and evaluate schedule performance on all SCAT fixed-route and paratransit vehicles.
