Roles and Responsibilities

• Operate traffic network safely and efficiently with utililization of Connected Vehilcle technologies.
• Operate traffic signal systems for Manatee County.
• Provide transit signal priority for MCAT vehicles
• Provides security for CAV communications between vehicles and the roadside.



• Sarasota County Public Works Department

Roles and Responsibilities

• Operate traffic network safely and efficiently with utililization of Connected Vehilcle technologies.
• Operate traffic signal systems for Sarasota County.
• Operate traffic signal systems.
• Provide transit signal priority to SCATfixed-route vehicles.
• Provides security for CAV communications between vehicles and the roadside.



• Sarasota County Area Transit

Roles and Responsibilities

• Obtain traffic signal priority from the Sarasota County TSCS using Sarasota County roadside field equipment for SCAT fixed-route transit vehicles.
• Provide fixed-route bus service for Sarasota County and the surrounding area.
• Track and evaluate schedule performance on all SCAT fixed-route and paratransit vehicles.



• Manatee County Public Works, Transit Division

Roles and Responsibilities

• Obtain traffic signal priority from Manatee County's TSCS using county roadside field equipment for MCAT fixed-route transit vehicles.
• Provide fixed-route bus service for Manatee County and the surrounding area.
• Track and evaluate schedule performance on all MCAT fixed-route and paratransit vehicles.



• Manatee County Area Traffic Agencies

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate traffic information and traffic control with county and local traffic systems; the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT); and other southwest Florida TMCs.
• Operate traffic network safely and efficiently with utililization of Connected Vehilcle technologies.
• Operate traffic signal systems in cooperation with the cities of Bradenton, Sarasota and the counties of Manatee and Sarasota.
• Provide transit signal priority for transit vehicles.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide CAV secure infrastructure for vehicle safety.
• Provide security and credentials management support and certificates for connected vehicle operations.
