Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate traffic information with county and local TMCs.
- Monitor secure area sensors and report alert notifications to regional ISPs, the FDOT maintenance yards, and regional emergency management agencies.
- Provide traffic information on road network conditions to local emergency management providers, such as local fire, EMS, and police; the FHP; the county sheriff's office, etc.
- Provide traffic information to travelers using the Florida 511 system, private companies, the southwest Florida traveler information system, and the media.
- Receive Amber Alert and other wide area alert information from the county EOC/warning point.
- City of Lakeland Traffic Operations
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate traffic information with FDOT District 1.
- Provide traffic information to the Lakeland Citrus Connection.
- Provide traffic information to travelers via the Florida 511 system, private companies, and city DMS equipment.
- Receive Amber Alert and other wide area alert information from the county EOC/warning point.
- City of Marco Island

Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate traffic information with FDOT District 1.

- Lee County DOT
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collect vehicle probe information from the LeeWay Customer Service Center, and from vehicles on Lee County and city streets.
- Coordinate traffic information with FDOT District 1.
- Provide parking information from private/public parking facilities to travelers using DMS equipment.
- Provide traffic information to LeeTran paratransit and transit operations.
- Provide traffic information to travelers via private companies, the southwest Florida traveler information system, and county and city DMS equipment.
- Receive Amber Alert and other wide area alert information from the county EOC/warning point.
- Collier County Transportation Management Services Department
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collect vehicle probe information from the SunPass Customer Service Center and from vehicles on Collier County roads.
- Coordinate traffic information with FDOT District 1.
- Provide traffic information to the Collier County deviated fixed-route system.
- Provide traffic information to travelers via private companies, the southwest Florida traveler information system, and county DMS equipment.
- Receive Amber Alert and other wide area alert information from the county EOC/warning point.
- Manatee County Public Works Department
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate traffic information with FDOT District 1.
- Provide traffic and road network information to local transit agencies, such as MCAT.
- Provide traffic information to travelers via the Florida 511 system, private companies, the southwest Florida traveler information system, and DMS equipment.
