- Provide the regional local and city maintenance data, including pavement maintenance and construction activities. Provide maintenance and construction activity alerts to the traveling public using portable DMS equipment.
- Coordinate maintenance and construction activities and information with other regional maintenance operations, regional ISPs, regional traffic operations, rail operations, multimodal service providers, and the media.
- Coordinate maintenance resources for incidents with FDOT maintenance and construction operations, and other counties and cities outside the District.
- Coordinate RTMC maintenance or construction requests.
- Receive a request for maintenance resources for incident response from county fire/EMS/sheriff, local police/fire/EMS, and the FHP.
- Receive a request for maintenance resources for incident response from the FDOT I-75 TMCs, and the county and city TMSs.
- Receive AVL information from county and city public works vehicles. Vehicles provide automated maintenance status information to the county and city roadway maintenance and construction system (repair facility).
- Receive road weather conditions from the FDOT District 1 TMCs and distribute this road network information to RTMCs.
- Distribute maintenance and construction information to RTMCs.
- Manage work zones for all county and city maintenance and construction activity, as well as monitor work zone safety with county and city field equipment and vehicles.
- Perform maintenance for city- and county-owned ITS field equipment in the region.
