- Track and evaluate schedule performance on all Lakeland Citrus Connection transit vehicles.
- Obtain traffic signal priority from the City of Lakeland ATMS using City of Lakeland roadside field equipment for all Lakeland Citrus Connection transit vehicles.
Lakeland Automated/ Connected/ Electric/ Shared (ACES) Projects Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the City of Lakeland for traffic signal priority.
- Provide autonomous transit shuttle in mixed traffic using autonomous and connected vehicle technologies.
Lakeland Citywide Transit Signal Prioritization Phase II Roles and Responsibilities
- Obtain traffic signal priority from the City of Lakeland ATMS using City of Lakeland roadside field equipment for all Lakeland Citrus Connection transit vehicles.
Lakeland Intermodal Center Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide fixed-route bus service for the City of Lakeland and the surrounding area.
- Provide paratransit/fixed-route transit services to the City of Lakeland.
- Provide transit schedule and fare information to the Lakeland Citrus Connection traveler information system, and private sector traveler ISPs.
- Provide security cameras on transit vehicles and at transfer stations. Vehicles are also equipped with silent alarms.
- Track and evaluate schedule performance on all Lakeland Citrus Connection transit vehicles.

Lakeland US 98 Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide transit traveler information to the agency Web site and local private sector traveler ISPs as well as making it available on all transit vehicles.
- Track and evaluate schedule performance on all Lakeland Citrus Connection transit vehicles.
- Obtain traffic signal priority from the City of Lakeland ATMS using City of Lakeland roadside field equipment for all Lakeland Citrus Connection transit vehicles.
Transit Management for Southwest Florida Regional ITS Architecture - FDOT District 1
- Provide fixed-route bus service for the City of Lakeland and the surrounding area.
- Coordinate emergency plans with county EOCs, and provide emergency transit services for evacuations, fires, and disasters, including re-entry services.
- Provide paratransit/fixed-route transit services to the City of Lakeland.
- Provide transit schedule and fare information to the Lakeland Citrus Connection traveler information system, and private sector traveler ISPs.
