Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate incident response with other public safety agencies, such as the police, fire, EMS, and sheriff's offices.
- Coordinate maintenance resources for incident response with county and city DPWs, and the FDOT Maintenance Office.
- Coordinate public safety (FHP) resources for incident response with regional traffic agencies, such as the FDOT, and county and city agencies.
- Dispatch FHP vehicles to incidents within jurisdiction.
- Perform incident detection and verification for all streets in the region, and provide this information to traffic and other safety agencies.
- Regional Public Safety Agencies
Roles and Responsibilities
- Receive emergency calls for incidents within jurisdictions of the 911 center. Coordinate incident response with local public safety agencies, including police, fire, EMS, and sheriff agencies, and the FHP.
- County Public Safety Agencies - Fire/EMS
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate county fire, EMS, and rescue resources for incident response with regional traffic agencies, such as the FDOT, and county and city agencies.
- Coordinate incident response with other public safety agencies, such as sheriff's offices, the police, and the FHP.
- Coordinate maintenance resources for incident response with county and city departments of public works (DPWs), and the FDOT Maintenance Office.
- Dispatch county fire and EMS vehicles to incidents in the jurisdiction.
- Perform incident detection and verification for all streets in the region, and provide this information to traffic and other safety agencies.
- County Public Safety Agencies - Sheriffs Department
